🤔 WHO IS VRSYJNES?
VRSYJNES is a masked music producer from South London UK, specialising in Rare Phonk, Neo Drill, Mellow Grime, Lo-Fi Trap, and Amapiano. VRSYJNES has been making Phonk since 2013, and was one of the only producers from UK pioneers creating the sound that is now known globally.
Since entering the Phonk scene in 2013, he worked with emerging artists such as Bones, Ramirez, Ojerime, Jebonair, Raider Klan, Dragonmane, Doomshop, Master Flash Yen & Slim Guerilla. His breakout hit "281-330-8004" launched him into the American-based underground genre, where he adapted to the slowed-down & sampled-based soundscapes. His experience within different genres, and various music scenes is what keeps him standing out.
In 2015 he decided to slow down from working with artists and focused on short EP releases. Songs like "No Standing Still", "No Exposure", "Trip To M-Town" & "500K" built him a cult following on streaming websites Soundcloud & Spotify, and eventually got his music played on BBC 1Xtra, Boiler Room, Soulection & Rinse FM.
